I think they're so charming - especially if well decorated - that people are willing to pay a little extra just for the experience.

There are affordable ownership programs in some states that designate homes as affordable and suppress the price on that home, you can only buy them if you are below a certain income. 

Any decent size city has some areas that are nicer than others so of course Pensacola has some areas that are run down but it also has some really great areas, a lot of natural beauty, some charming historical areas, proximity to two beautiful beaches and a lot more to offer. 

Then you can market it as a home with old world charm but the modern tech convienances. 

I want to say my charm with the seller is what made them accept my offer because we were competing against some cash offers lol.
