As far as a permanent fix, I guess it all depends on your standards for aesthetics vs cost. on the cheaper end of the spectrum would be getting a piece of hardboard and cutting it to size, installing it, and painting over it. otherwise as you mentioned maybe some vinyl or wood.

Let's stop confusing the misinformation, embellished outlier stories, trite truisms, unverifiable shortcuts and unsustainable business strategies that are "taught" by gurus with the real education in real estate provided by real educators.At the lower end of the "real" real estate education spectrum are the real estate broker/agent courses, both initial licensing and continuing education offered by both community colleges and privately owned real estate schools, both physical and online.The next step up are the short term courses offered by the real estate institutes of major colleges, open to anyone, such as those offered by  NYU or Wharton.  

Usually they only work with proven sub-trade performers who are experienced, good with creative cost saving solutions and have the knowledge and skills applicable across a wide spectrum of their trade.

In Milwaukee the majority is between 5 and 8, maybe 10 depending on the quality - and we have a wide spectrum!

in 2020 there were alot of applicants that were military docs applying for STR, not just traveling nurses  (which surprised me cuz i thought since they were military they would be given their own quarters!).so anyways...

We have clients on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to feelings on the market.
