HelloI am looking for a general contractor for a 2nd floor addition on a ranch i just recently purchased for a flip.It would would be about 1000sf master bed/bath, 2 beds, 1 bath and a laundry room.I would also want to remodel extiour..I do not have any plans.I am in the north suburbs park ridge.Thanks jeff

This was effectively a 6% risk free interest rate arbitrage thats been running for close to five years now.now I'm in graduate school and get them at 6% (interest accrues immediately), I've used it for remodels and down payments. when your done with school, you can opt for the balance to convert to a 30-year Amort.

Hello all,I am working on remodeling my first investment, and I need to have the old, thirty-year old carpets ripped up and replaced with laminate / vinyl to look like wood for the living room, dining room and kitchen, and the three bedrooms to have new carpeting.The house in question is ~1,500 square feet, but I have gotten some extremely high estimates for the job and am wondering if I'm either misunderstanding something or not approaching this job correctly.
