I live in a military town just outside of the  Twentynine Palms Marine base in California.

My plan for a while has been to go to college and pursue an MBA, however I won't be ending my service in the Marines until I'm 24 and that would require a minimum of an additional 5 years of my life where I won't be earning full-time income which would in the end put me behind on my ultimate goal of being net worth of 5 million by the age of 35.

Marine Credit Union, Town Bank, Commerce State Bank, Partnership Bank,..

@Cesar GuerraLotsa of marines over at 29 Palms - not sure if they have base housing or not... if not there may be some demand for rentals. 

I find most military tenants are great to rent to, that was my experience while in the Marines.

I estimate that by the time I leave the Marine Corps I will have about $42,000 cash and roughly $16,000 in my Roth IRA (no debt).I am looking for some advice from people who were once in my shoes are are dealing with the same questions currently. 

Hello everyone,I'm 21 years old and have been serving on active duty as a US Marine for the past 3 years and plan on attending college at Arizona State to begin the pursuit of my MBA in 2 years immediately after I finish my enlistment, but my "big time" goal in life is to become a multifamily real estate investor and create my own chain of luxury apartment complexes all over the United States and potentially all around the world, and from there become a venture capitalist and invest in small tech startups that have huge potential, but just not enough funds to get it started.I'm still currently educating myself on the subject of real estate investing and real estate in general (reading books, listening to podcasts, studying markets in different areas, etc) and I look forward to networking and learning from all of you here and potentially even shadow/work with some of you sometime in the near future!

Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to the whole subject of REI and I'm currently learning new things everyday, however my current plan once my service ends with the Marine Corps is to pursue my MBA at Arizona State full time, however I will have a decent amount of money to invest once I get out and I'd like to start investing as soon as possible.
