You cannot deny the family because of the lead paint either, that's considered discrimination (you're refusing them because they have a kid) and is against the anti-discrimination laws of the state.

Bad = Landlord is bad, (anti landlord laws) tenant is good, statewide rent control (either coming or already, can't remember) taxes high, profits low, high cost to get started, lots of competition, there is a question of whether it's at the top of the bubble.That's what people are saying about "Bad", whether it is accurate or not is a different question.
