Hi everyone, I’m Kevin, 27, and an Air Force Pilot.

The contractor I used on my last project wanted $11,000 to install a new 3 ton heat pump (brand new system, new compressor, air handler, run duct, etc) in this house.  

Editing to add we are a little more worried than usual (we would probably just run fans and a humidifier and clean up ourselves) but our forced hot air system comes from this basement and we have a newborn baby so really don’t want to be having mold coming through our air vents! 

They’re already trying to tax the water we drink... next will be the air we breath.

All is going well, the market is great and turn around time is great, new hospitals and an Air Force base are key.

I am prior military (AF) and an air traffic controller. 

I lived in Midwest City for 4 years while serving in the Air Force.

Good solid house with new air. 

However if you go outside of city limits then the county has more lax requirements and they are subjective about what is an MHP versus what is not - sometimes it's 4 homes, sometimes more.Most water wells can support multiple homes, it's more about the treatment equipment sizing (e.g. chlorinators, filtration systems) and ability to keep up with demand, and also regulatory requirements of water testing once you have 15+ homes - it becomes an EPA thing instead of your state DEQ.
