Although the city's website doesn't explicitly address it, I am pretty sure that this permit is the one that is most likely to be approved out of the three, and offers the most lenience in terms of zoning regulations.

Also forgot to mention that it also allows you to address an issue before it gets out of hand and gives you a perspective on your renewal prospects for that tenant.

I am sure there are a number of questions I am not even addressing so happy to provide amplifying data if I am missing something, but I figured this was a good spot.

Personally if I don't have rental history within 3 years for a potential tenant and they say they own a property - I verify the address and name on title with the county that the property is located in (most states this info is online through the county assessor's website) 

They wanted us to pay $7,000 to address these areas.

Unofficially it could be more as it does point to our site so if someone takes down our web address and comes back directly and books us it would not credit to Google. 

There's plenty of people flouting the rules, but I don't recommend it -- at any time they could address their housing shortage by cracking down on STR heavily.
