The guy that does 1 or 2 houses  is a royal PIA to work with generally .

Sounds like your lender screwed up royally... and unfortunately you hired them so pointing fingers won't fix much other than perhaps buying you time.

I don’t know any myself but you may also want to talk to TD and Royal Bank who have branches on the east coast in US.

And besides, I would prefer an investor who pulls out of a deal because it didn't pencil than for some "princess" to dislike a property because the lighting fixtures weren't her color, or the home wasn't feng shui.  

The leak is caused by lots of leaves and seed pods dropping from overarching branches from my neighbor's giant Royal Poinciana trees.

So those of us that are new, and still trying to get our first deal under our belt, are left to flounder in the field based on the information we are able to gather, and just try to do the best we can and pray we don't royally screw up.

Your partner could mess up royally and only risk a diminished cut.
