Looking at the County records, it looks as though the Mortgage is paid and he owns it free and clear but I dont know about any other mortgages he may have taken out.I can make a down payment of $20,000 but I'd like to see what everyone thinks before I approach him.One other thing of note is that 20 years ago this house was the scene of a pretty grizzly murder and arson!

There is definitely crime in the areas as in any downtown-ish area but murder and very violent crime have significantly decreased over the last 20 years.so here's my dilemma, rents would be great in those areas versus my mortgage and I think cashflow would be high. long term I see the area moving into a somewhat B- but getting better nonetheless but TODAY I would still have to deal with the kind of people that live in these neighborhoods and they're generally lower income, lower... let's say weaker moral compasses and such. so, should I get my name on a property this year and just navigate these things as I go?

Besides, how does Guy #2 explain the mysterious $40k that showed up from Guy #1 - what did he sell him?

AI is not emotional (most murders and blood lust fall into this category). 

Why he would he do that would be a mystery to me.

It's a relatively new creation and the policy starting a few months ago is that any property that doesn't have a residential component must be listed in RICIE only - pure-commercial listings are no longer allowed in the regular RI MLS.I hope that helps, and if you do get an answer please follow up here to let us know what the solution to the mystery was.

Mysteriously, the name of the PM company would remain unidentified during the presentation.As the presenter was moving forward with the presentation slides, there was one slide which was quickly glossed over with little elaboration or explanation.

How we are structuring it is still a mystery.

If they talk about how they are suddenly getting money every month from some mysterious benefactor, reply with "WOW!  

That said, I have no idea what "an inspection" by a contractor is so that's a bit of a mystery.
