Thanks for that post Kyle, I agree that owning rentals in and around Military towns provide some great advantages, chief among them BAH expanding the available pool of renters that meet the income requirements.However, the military is nothing more than a subset of the larger population they defend, thus they won't, on average, have any special characteristics that don't exist in the general population.

Especially in a competitive area like Boston, having a strong understanding of the market & access to contractors, inspectors, etc is the industry standard (or at least should be if it's not), where as the qualities I mentioned are characteristics that go above & beyond what most realtors are willing to offer.
