To get the big picture view of investing and fixing houses all you have to do is to go on TV and watch all the Home Improvement shows and the Flip this House shows and the Decorating shows and the Real Estate Sale shows.

Every local TV station and social media is hounding them, so this is all escalating.

As many others, I have been inspired by flippers on HGTV (I understand that there's more work put into it than is shown on TV).

@Casey Trawick Does your wife watch any of the tv shows on HGTV?

More hustle = more sales = more money in my pocket.Fast forward 1 ½ years and it was another night of working late and coming home to find my fiancée sitting at the kitchen table studying for her next exam with yet another one of Christina and Tarek's success stories flashing across the TV.

I furnished the common area (sofa, tv, dining table for less than $1k) and rented out all the spare bedrooms - each brought in $500-700 + utilities.

In general a great deal of our society are more worried about having the latest phone, biggest TV, etc.  

I nLA, need to zip in and out a little faster than the leisurely skate.

I'm the guy who watches WAY too much TV (only HGTV) and I am desperate to get into the RE game.
