What I am attempting to point out is that it seems there is a stigma of sorts that there is a secret place to find "the good notes" to buy.

With all due respect, David, in this day and age there is nothing secret anymore.

If you go in thinking you'll get all of the real estate "magic secrets" in a couple of days...well...you can guess how it will end up.

Some assets are better left kept secret, in this case it is the lender.

It's a "secret" lien in the sense that the Government doesn't need to take any action to make it valid.

A big secret in management is they all say they "inspect" but few actually do it.
