At over 60k payoff amount and comps in the 90s it doesn't sound like much of a deal unless the house needs very little to no work, in which case you do have options to monetize this lead if the seller's price expectations are in line.

I own a house with my siblings and I wish to monetize my share as soon as possible.  

Also, monetizing your overhead is the play as well which allows you to pay down principal faster and set yourself up to buy in the depreciated market when we hit a recession.

The fee you paid to attend basically covers the cost of the room they used.There is nothing wrong with that provided whatever they sell you provides something of value that you can monetize.  

Since you don't really know how to value it, structure it, finance it or even tie it up, you've got a slim chance of monetizing the opportunity while you worry about loosing it.

And then somebody else would talk about their sfr in Apache Junction that they did a cash-out refinance with the BRRRR method, are seeing $100/mo net flow and etc etc.That's the key.

Legal and technical title questions about real estate pop up very frequently too, as do queries about monetizing opportunities and deal with problem people.

I'm sure as you said, there are plenty of other ways for an agent to monetize off the relationship
