You'll end up with a fraction of something (likely being the smallest creditor and not be in a position of power) ... or a whole piece of something you may have trouble liquidating.

In my opinion, what makes MFHs more attractive over SFHs is the fractional rent/unit vs. price/unit.For example, in my area you can buy a 4-unit (2br/1ba each) for about $140K ($35K/unit).
