I'd finish off painting the porch, steps and all trim the same white as the house.And if the roof is worn out, replace it with black Architectural shingles.A white and black theme with a new black mailbox to the left of the door with black house numbers above it.Add a light to the porch ceiling and paint the front door dark bottle green.Then alarm it and put an Alarm sign in the front yard (in a very visible place).That would be my curb appeal for the front.Good Luck!

One common one is that as soon as they have a wad of cash they go spend it on a bottle ... and you either won't see them the next day, or even worse, you might.And then there is the issue of licenses and insurance.

Not sure if you can use bottled gas temporarily  but that is expensive per gallon.
