I know this is an old post but I am a contractor from Staten Island over twenty years in the business.I am also looking to start investing in rentals as well as flipping housesI have an extensive knowledge in home improvements and I have flipped a few houses through out the years, but now I want to be a lot more involved in creating assets

Maybe the outlay isn't huge, but I guarantee you will find another deal in the next 6 months that seems like an equally exciting investment for that twenty grand.

I've known all the auction house owners going back at least twenty plus years when it was awarded to Marsh Dozar.The rules on overbids for court confirmed sales are by statute and found in the CA Probate Code.

@Adam Craig just be aware that with a commercial loan you could be looking at a ten or seven year note with a fifteen or twenty year amortization.
