Hiding it is how landlords get a bad rep and also may lead to tenant problems if people feel you were dishonest when they signed.

If he's that dishonest with you, I suspect he's getting what he deserves.The tenants are already in.

@William Tong The only valid argument to be made for her being "slippery", (if by that you mean dishonest) is that she brought the buyer and double-ended the deal.Since you're an agent, you should be able to find that out easily.If she double-ended it I would consider taking action through whatever means you do that kind of thing in SC. 

When I set up my business, being that I am an agent, I would make this transparent with my customers (not trying to be a dishonest agent) and try to help them out in a way that best fits their needs. 

All realtors probably aren't all dishonest but there are quite a few of them.

The seller is also being dishonest up front.

Some landlords do that to "generate" income and I find it deplorable, not to mention dishonest.  

Mortgage brokers are not dishonest people and most are very legit.

Whatever your choice of operating, if done in an honest and legal manner this will help avoid complaints, lawsuits, and building a bad reputation for dishonest dealing.
