@Natalie Vane  well as much as I hate to say it .. your going to have to consult an attorney in that state that is up to speed with mechanics liens.in our state if you did not send notice BEFORE any work was done.. then your toast.

My speed of getting my money out and available to do another deal is at least 4 times faster than refinancing a cash purchase if you assume it takes me 45 days to refinance versus the 6 month wait before you can get a cash out refinance.
