I have religiously listened to the BiggerPockets Pod cast for a long time and even read some of the books.

Investing in international real estate is different (and it's different country by country) so it's always good to listen to people like @Steve K., who has experience in that game.When it comes to international real estate financing though, there’s a lot of involuntarily posted misinformation about the topic of financing.

That is a significant difference.I've read numerous times that investors who don't set enough aside for maintenance and/or big ticket items often get hit hard and go out of business/go broke when big ticket items do pop up.

Since i'm new myself, I can only mention some things that I have been watching and listening to.

:) I also listened to a guy flipping lots with no landlord responsibilities and is CRUSHING it!!!  

Keep that in mind too when listening to advice from others.

I’m currently reading “Rental Property Investing” by Brandon Turner and started listening to the rookie podcast everyday.

I've been listening to the podcast for a while and always found it very helpful both in my personal investing as well as helping my clients invest.

After attending SCOTT CARSON's (We Close Notes) seminars, Master Mind programs, and listening to his podcasts, I decided to invest as a passive investor (joint venture partner) with SCOTT CARSON (Inverse Asset Fund) to acquire a number of defaulted real estate notes.

There are numerous others with better rates, I participated in Lee's Inner Circle, so I need to do one more deal with them to get my tuition reimbursed.
