The vending machine falls and injures a tenant or visitor of the building - whose liable?

The bottom line is, for the home, if a contractor got injured, he sues me, as far as I'm concerned, the insurance company will take care of it.

The repercussions are too long to list and are even worse if someone gets injured. 

However, I am aware that there might be liability issues if any of these individuals get injured while working on the property.

==============Now you have a little bit of information, and a little bit of information can be dangerous.It's like you have heard there is good skiing at Aspen but have never skied.Without the more knowledge of skiing if you just go out and jump on ski run you will probably crash pretty quickly and injure yourself.

There is a Major problem with this, is if the sublease/ unauthorized person moving into the basement any injure will fall to you.

I get insurance every year when I buy my ski pass that covers me if I get sick or injured for $10 so I'm sure its out there.  

If someone gets injured they might try to turn it on you.

Imagine a visitor is injured due to negligence of the owner (i.e. landlord's failure to fix unstable stairways), then both of these coverage would be useful, right?   

What if he doesn't do it well or injure himself?
