Painters and flooring
When working with flooring and painters, what are the things that one should normally take from them? I read somewhere a w9, lien waiver, insurance and licensing. Is there anything else? Thanks in advance.

For licensure, again it depends on your market. in some states, you need to be registered / licensed in the local county/municipality.
Since you are operating under a LLC, yeah you need the W9 to issue a 1099 in January. You should get proof of insurance (which would be sent on that Accord form from the insurance agent). I think customarily around the country you are looking for General Commercial Liability and Workers Compensation insurance.
Thats pretty much the basics.
