The "hottest" areas in Cleveland are Tremont and Ohio City which have had a lot of appreciation.

Austin, TexasAustin had the hottest multifamily construction activity in the country, counting 61,873 units underway as of May 2023, taking the first spot from fellow Texas metro Dallas by just 1,341 units.

It certainly does have one of the hottest real estate investing markets in the country.

In addition, the rental market is the hottest from March to August so September through February usually experiences a slow down due to school starting and the holidays which may mean that homes purchased in August or September may sit vacant until the spring.  

Aside from the multiple overcharges, they cost me thousands in under priced rents on renewals, tried to rent properties after I had moved companies, took 4 months to rent a property in one of the hottest areas of the hottest rental markets ever.

I was almost able to live for free but because water and electricity are included for renters, I was paying just shy of $400/mo during the hottest summer months when all way said and done.

If you are looking at the South, The Texas Triangle is probably the hottest market.

I know Austin was one of, if not THE, hottest market in 2020-21, but now it appears to be in a correction.
