I guess that's the first question I should get clear on - if we could use that history to qualify.I suppose the heart of what I'm trying to wrap my head around is this hypothetical:I acquire a property for $1M that has a NOI of $150k. 

As far as feedback I have to disagree whole heartedly. 

I would get a second opinion in a heart beat.

Investors work with you because they know your working to source deals for them. you have their interest at heart which they need to feel and rely on.

But what am I supposed to do in this situation that I'm in where I feel like I have no security that he has my best interests at heart?

It's a great way to quickly build a team, where everyone is incentivized and has your best interests at heart and the ability to get there.  

He had recently had a mild heart attack but he said that he was feeling much better and was in good spirits.
