I would say it's best just to ask, every one is generally flexible and there may be opportunity behind the curtain.I would watch out for RE/MAX as you have to pay advertising fees, as well as I believe Century 21 or Royal Lepage, One of the 2 is cheap to work for but they charge a fee to leave.

Ferndale and Royal Oak have great bars and restaurants, Belle Isle is scenic and quiet, Detroit has beautiful historic homes and great museums (thank God the DIA kept it's collection), and you can really feel the excitement that is building around the cities rebound.
