My father in law and husband bought it as an "investment" 20 years ago speculating that once Sullivan County gets a casino permit business would be booming.. here we go the casino is finally being built but I don't see the area turning around any time soon.. 

42, I got a late start to REI (just started last year), I own 2 SFH that are currently rented out, another SFH in the process of getting rehabbed and will be rented by September, I own a piece of vacant land near a casino, and I'm almost on contract with my first duplex (a City-owned property).

I was thinking about trying to get some like minded people together, possibly over dinner at foxwoods casino.

I am hoping the new Majestic Star Casino and the new Penguins arena project bring some life to Pittsburgh.

Wall Street is a rigged casino IMO.

Take that money you're saving str8 to the casino.

Raise the casino tax, raise the "tourist" taxes.

However, I'll play the odds like a Vegas casino and bet on the house in the long run.As I've stated many times here and elsewhere before: plan your work, work your plan and don't plan the results.

Make sure your message is effective and the list is right.Without those 2 things you could mail 10,000 per month and by dumb luck land a deal but that is not how to run and effective business and maximum returns and profits.Direct mail 1 to 2% response is standard, 3 is good, and 4 to 5% or higher is doing very well.

I know times they be a changin... though.was just in Lincoln last summer for my niece's wedding stayed at Thunder Valley that's one nice Indian casino and hotel  by the way.My direct mail that I do now is in other states one were I live and others in the deep south were I am active.
