Without using a data site, this will give you a free and easy idea.But, why are you thinking STR and do you know what it takes to be successful with STR now?

You'd need to start working through a preliminary site-plan to validate your assumptions about the building area, parking ratio, drive-thrus etc.

I just listed one of my units on the site but no one has reached out yet (2 days).

We always do a 15-business-day inspection period and advise the seller that we will need access to the property, which usually takes 2 to 3 days to get our financial partners and contractors to the site.

How does material participation occur unless you are on-site managing / co managing the build?

There will not be one site or a single data set.

Ordering a full topographical survey of the property (which will be required for future development and application processes anyway) will give you the ability to show engineering/design groups what you have, and they can give thoughts and bids leading to a site plan. 

My accountant did it for me included in what I pay him monthly, however I have new LLC he has not done/had to do any work so I did myself and it was free and under 5 mins on FinCen site.
