Plus, having multiple people walking through seems to create a sense of urgency in applicants because they can see that other people are also interested.  

If their answer is “no” tell them you have another showing at that time, but you’d love to show it to them any other time to abide by social distancing.If the answer is “yes” then say okay great because I have a showing already scheduled for this time from a well qualified renter.This should put some urgency behind their decision and “kill their time” as I like to put it.

I know these exact sentiments may drive me into an impulsive purchase, so I’m really trying to fight a sense of urgency.

Also, I wonder if your agent is normally this aggressive or if he’s advising you based on your urgency.

One thing I will mention is that if you are considering Stessa just be aware of their customer service concerns and their lack of urgency in fixing issues.

He is either just so busy or has a slower pace or doesn't feel the urgency I feel. 

It's too early in the process and no one thought there was any urgency.

Sorry for the late reply guys, the deal didn't go through (mostly because Penny Mac's lack of communication and sense of urgency) but I appreciate all the answers.

Consider a penalty clause as well for not hitting key deliverables.Speaking from personal experience with two separate contractor partnerships, the opportunity to make money does not seem to drive urgency with contractor's the same way the threat of losing money does.

Even out here, where the sun shines every day, there’s an urgency to sell before say, Thanksgiving.
