the broker said that I had to go though sdmls.com, I did but I couldn't find any application forms or registration for an unlicensed assistant anywhere on that site or perhaps I just haven't seem to find it. 

In PA it is prohibited to compensate an unlicensed person to effect a real estate transaction. 

Most home warranty companies I've ever seen send their own "contractors"  who are usually unlicensed or drunks and do shady work.
