Even just a straight cash investment into an OZ fund could be compelling given the tax-free potential after a 10 year hold period.And yes, most certainly consultant a CPA experienced with OZs but unfortunately those are limited given how new it is and we are still awaiting final IRS guidance which should be out by the end of this year.

Have him separate labor and materials to check this.With flooring, I've had a lot of success going straight to flooring boxstores and they will hold their subs accountable for reasonable pricing and save you headache.

I have no idea how many units the person had (I was straight up eavesdropping at a restaurant), but it just sounded like unnecessary work for units that will probably get rented out regardless.
