Keep the current investment and buy another house hack to live in.

I'm thinking about investing into section 8  housing in STL and I'm new to this game.

Since we are considering a 4 bedroom house, let's compare it to a 2 bedroom 2 bath duplex each side.  

start with a house hack. 

I believe depreciation on that unit that you were living in starts at that point as well.just bringing this up because it was mentioned in another post where someone was house hacking.

For Example:  All Blue houses make more money.Lots of times, I tell people not to trust me, since my topics can be vetted, plus I don't know their personal situations.Just surprised that people on the Forum don't have more Podcast visits referenced in their bylines. 

They just came out with a BabyBox, even smaller one that circumvents state housing lows and falls in as an RV.

When I tried selling that house in 2014 there was just not enough users, 2018 maybe a lot easier to do.

It's the concept of buying the debt attached to the mortgage rather than buying the house.
