I don't recommend it, mainly because of the disruption to your business, and because if you need to dig into previous years of data (and I often do) it would mean operating more than one accounting program to get the reports needed.

Unless there is some major economic disruption, inflation will continue to slowly drop into the high 4% range by end of year, and I honestly don't think 2% inflation will happen again for years and we'll settle for 3-4% for a long time.
