Last thing you need is to send a refund then they file a dispute on the original card.

I am not disputing the number it just does not jive with B class as I imagined.  

Not sure if she and her team does litigation but they are experts in securities law.Depending on the amount at dispute and underlying jurisdiction, you may also want to engage a large national firm.

That is of course, unless they have record of an attempt to contact you with the information, in which case they could raise a dispute and successfully stick it to you.

Personally I don't like credit card payments because I think the likelihood of someone disputing a charge and having the rent payment reversed/clawed back is increased with credit card payments.
