I don't see myself moving away from them, however I want to have the foundation in place to eventually take control of my own guest lists and not be at the mercy of their rules and algorithms.

I was listening to Cody Sperber and he mentioned that smart data is now filtering big data to predict when someone will sell and at a discount by using different algorithms.  

I don't like the rates the algorithm suggest...usually way low.

Airbnb algorithms are ever changing (or so it seems) but reviews and price are big but so are other factors such as the age and reviews on hosts account, how updated the info in the listing is etc etc.
