I remember mowing our lawn one week during Christmas break and calling our parents in Idaho and Utah and they were shoveling feet of snow.

This seems to be fairly safe for me to fund roofs, heaters and the occasional snow plowing.At the end of the day, I view this place as a viable investment if you can get your mortgage payment down.

@Andrew S.And what your friend said also applies to boats, ski chalets, RV, luxury cars, atvs, snow mobiles, and a whole host of other "big boy toys" and big girl toys also.
