I got recertified in the military on my weapon every 6 months and without regular practice and in a controlled environment I still had difficulty with the target.It gives many (not all) people a false sense of security, like they're going to pull out their weapon and go Steven Segal on the situation, when the most appropriate response most of the time is to exit the situation (run/hide/etc).There are reasonable alternatives to carrying a firearm that are at least worth considering for your particular situation. 

Unless you cheat by reporting things incorrectly, which is easier to hide inside a partnership LLC.

If you must have carpet, go with something neutral like you mentioned.Darker tans or something with a speckled pattern would be nice and hide stuff.

Is it possible to hide it some or out of reach?

Per inspection the HVAC was from 2009. worried if the place is hiding a smell of some sort because there were several plug ins in the home as well.

For now, I suppose the best I can do is hide and watch.

We have a blue/grey and a neutral green we like because they hide some of the wear and tear.

The ones still hiding in anonymity are the obvious scammers.
