You have probably ruined them and will be untrainable at this point.

Seller says Section 8 inspections have not required any repair on this issue either, but my untrained eye says that some concrete block should be added to reinforce the small addition.

Now I have seen just how much damage (untrained) pets can do, especially if the pet owners are irresponsible, unclean, and not attentive.
