My issue with public REITs, like @Mike Dymski said, is that their value is impacted by CEO scandals, wars in Europe, random tweets and the mood on Wall Street.

I will say that Trump has done a nice job managing any major stock gains with Tweets on China Tariffs; we'll likely see effort on keeping the economy strong through 2020 if he wishes to get re-elected.With equities going up, there will be a rush towards the market before a crash.
