Elon Musk offered free land outside Austin to move Twitter HQ

A Central Texas rancher is offering Elon Musk free land outside Austin to relocate Twitter's headquarters.

Jim Schwertner is president and CEO of Schwertner Farms Inc., which runs Capitol Land & Livestock east of Jarrell. As our partners at KXAN News point out in this story, he recently tweeted this:

“Elon, Move twitter to Schwertner, TX, 38 miles North of Austin and we will give you 100 Acres for FREE.”

Schwertner, an unincorporated area of Williamson County, isn't too far from where Samsung is building a $17 billion factory, but it's a far cry from Twitter's existing headquarters in a bustling San Francisco neighborhood.
