I just supply the w/d hookup because other landlords have told me about tenant abuse.However, I had one tenant buy a bad used washer which flooded the basement, which wasted my Sunday afternoon, but I made him pay for pumping it out.In my latest rehab I'm including a washer/drier because it came with the house.

The property has a washer and drier hook-ups in a little laundry room, but I do not know where to purchase a coin operated washer/drier and or what is the going rate for this type of machine.

Interesting that a drier part of Texas has shifting soil issues. 

Are we poised to tumble due to the highly leveraged market?

Hello all,I just found the site on Thursday when my theoretically neutral options portfolio took a 2% loss on the S&P's tumble (don't even ask me how it went on Friday).  

We've encountered houses here in Georgia that were owned by estates and in some cases, the kids can't agree as to the disposition of the property and I've literally seen houses fall apart over the course of several years while the family squabbles were taking place.It's much drier where you are so hopefully the properties have a longer "shelf life" but around here, an abandoned home doesn't last too long.The municipality there probably wants their property taxes so maybe you can find out if those are being paid and by whom?
