Hello all,

I just found the site on Thursday when my theoretically neutral options portfolio took a 2% loss on the S&P's tumble (don't even ask me how it went on Friday).  There look to be a lot of great resources on the site, and I'm wondering if someone can direct me to any experienced buy and hold investors in the northern NJ area (Essex, eastern Morris, Passaic, Union, Somerset counties) who might be interested in meeting for a drink.  I'm not sure if I'm in the right place to start investing in real estate and I'd be happy to buy someone a coffee or a beer and chat for a half hour if anyone's willing.

Just saw the warning before the post and I want to make it clear I'm not soliciting a mentor.  If over time that type of relationship develops then great but right now I'm just looking to have a conversation and ask someone's opinion about my personal situation trying to do this while continuing at my full-time job with my limited capital (<$100k), etc.

Jeff
