I am a Physical Therapist by trade, but I love Real Estate.

I was just with a couple that are renting in Regent Square right now and both are physical therapists who are just waiting a year or two to decide where to get a house and like the area.  

So here I am, future rehabilitation center therapist, graduating from a graduate program in two years, looking to obtain a FHA 203k loan to move into my own investment property(duplex, triplex, or quadruplex) with only 3.5% down(the terms of this loan) and obtain rehabbing financing.

I'm a full time investor now but I had careers as a respiratory therapist from 1972 to 1988 and as a software engineer from 1988 to 2014.Noteworthy accomplishments (in order of importance):Married my wife Brenda in 1981, Completed 2006 Iditarod sled dog race, first ascent Gilhooley Tower in Olympic Mountains in 1972, quit smoking in 1985. 

Yup, that new…ANYWAY, I’m looking for advice on an idea I have about renovating a space for a future tenant.We have a commercial space with 4 offices sharing a shared waiting room.One of which my business partner (and wife) operates her therapy practice out of.We were approached by an established massage therapy practice who is interested in renting all three offices.My wife doesn’t feel like she wants to be the only metal health therapist in HER building.

My goal would be for one of us to work as a therapist and then slowly branch out our real estate portfolio so in the future it would be my main priority.I'm hoping to connect with anyone who has completed the transition that we are hoping to complete.

Turn it into artist lofts, do some sound proofing and maybe band practice rooms, people looking for storage for collections, small office space for massage therapists, etc.Easy long term rentals, especially if you are under local rates.

I am a music therapist and while I LOVE that line of work, I am interested in learning how to wisely invest in real estate on the side (not as a full time job at the moment).My most important goal right now is to learn as much as possible!

I am a travel home health therapist and currently working an assignment in the West Plains area.   

I made a few jokes about the excercises, so the physical therapist asked me if I work out, and when I said I'd been working out for decades, asked me what exercises I do.
