You can recover damages from a security deposit, but you cannot recover normal wear and tear.

I hope the investors are able to recover at least some of their investment; but truth be told this has the feel of a total debacle.  

I don't see any reply in this thread as to whether Kenny actually has made money and recovered his initial investment. 

This negative position can consume years of cash flow to recover.

I did get suckered into the narrative of those who say to try this method and am now realizing the sour end of the situation looking to recover in the future for the better.

It's not often that a low producing property recovers that much.
