Covered in one coat, no problem.Since blue has more pigment and is much darker than tan, it would cover better.Colorplace is supposed to be really crappy paint.

If you're in a moist climate like close to the beach like I was, you'll most likely get a positive result.

You can only tell location of springs because the top soil stays moist and water is visible on the surface.

With no heat or AC running it's very warm and moist inside these houses.

If you do decide to remove the window and go over it with glass block then code says you would need an exhaust fan to remove all the moist air that the shower will make. 

We used to use 3 colors - a beige/tan (flat) for the walls, swiss coffee (satin or eggshell) for the trim like molding,  basic 0001 white for ceilings (flat, although some people use eggshell in kitchens and baths for rentals)The best quality is going be Behr Marquee, the pigment count is higher than any other brands.

It does look like there could be a little bit of pigment that comes off if you use a harsh cleanser, so be careful about that.If you are on a budget and cannot afford new cabinets, or just don't want to do it...

One thing that was a blessing was that the basement was overall moist but had minimal standing water because they had the power on.
