The hallway and the kitchen both had this black mastic stuff covering the hardwood (from the linoleum in the kitchen and old carpet that was in the hallway), but the guys did an excellent job in refinishing it and you couldn't even tell it was there before once they were done.

I live in a home that i would like to make my first rental property, which needs a ton of work. my credit score wont allow me to finance a pack of gum, so im unable to get a heloc. and my job doesnt pay me enough to have a savings. i have been doing a few diy projects here and there but at this rate i will have my property ready for rent in 2040. any suggestions on what i can do to speed up my renovation project to get this house rented out sooner?

They will promptly stay put because courts are closed and evictions are banned.Maybe if you give them enough cash they will even make a partial payment on the rent and really gum up the works!

When the tenant (shockingly) moved out, they left the following:- random miscolored paint on the wall- hundreds of roaches crawling everywhere- damage to all doors (appears they taped something on all doors and pulled it off removing the paint on the door)- deep scratches on the hardwood floors that will require replacement - gum and wax all over the floor and on several walls- something sticky all over the carpet when you walk anywhere the carpet sticks to your feet - also very oddly it appears the tenant changed the locks for some reason  landlord’s key doesn’t work- tenant removed all smoke detectors I could go on and on.

The transaction that introduces the two should be 1. at arm's length, 2. significant in scope, amounts and risk and 3. successfully completed to the end.Yes, you could do something knowing that you will or would likely do future business and you can do some transaction that introduces each party.As to a significance of the transaction, that would not mean buying a pack of gum at the drug store.
