Is it mainly a sales pitch or is there good knowledge that you cannot find elsewhere?

I am working on increasing my knowledge and skills on the accounting side of investing.  

Build your knowledge with books, podcasts, and online resources, and network through local REIA meetings and virtual platforms.

I would love to chat about investments and share any/all knowledge that I have! 

The best part is the free CD is nothing more than a bunch of vague suggestions about how you can make all this money in real estate and vague bragging sessions about how he has been around so long and wants to give you all his knowledge before he croaks (paraphrased) Someday I will be completely immune to the crooks attempts at separating me from my hard earned money.

I'd suggest you ask as many questions as you can, there are a ton of people on here who are knowledgeable in many subjects. 

We would like to create a partnership where we are 50/50 partners and he brings the cash and I bring the experience, knowledge, and contacts ect.

Try not to get overwhelmed as there’s a lot of information on BP and many avenues within real estate investing.When I was starting out, I was interested in so many strategies, but I discovered that I did my best when I focused on one or two and really built my knowledge around them.
