I didn't really think that these requests were unreasonable at first, so I went on and painted the dormers since they did not require any fixing based on my observation, I cleaned the gutters, fixed the light and lightly washed the fence since it wasn't that much dirty and plus I did not want to add to much pressure in order not to break the pickets.

That’s all fine and nice but having great federal tenants in an A class neighborhood with a white picket fence who can’t afford to pay you rent doesn’t really help lol

If the neighbor can't, or won't pay half to have the fence replaced, make sure you have the pickets nailed on your side of the fence to make your yard look nicer.

The cultural mentality is too different (American dream, own house land picket fence etc).Nonetheless, I think it will become a very small but growing trend as the economy sour since it is an awesome way to save money for the tenant.

They seem to be more focused on picket fences and reassuring their principals that "yes, the color of the kitchen can in fact be changed with a can of paint rather easily". (2) You'll build a reputation among local investors and hopefully that will bring you more business and experience.

The customer wants a classic storybook farm appearance, but if you can't give them white picket fences, at least don't turn them off.
