You should ask your property manager if they have photos available.We had a discussion in our office earlier this year regarding replacing valve stems, washers, cartridges, etc vs installing new hardware.

Number 1 dont buy chrome next time,,,brushed nickel doesnt show water scum so fast.That HAS to be the oddest weirdest tub spout I have ever seen,,,maybe makes me thing REALLY old.Course IF just making it turn easier is ONLY concern then take off the rest of that face plate and get the cartridge out and grease it up with plumbers grease and see if that is what you want!!

They are generally pretty affordable and replacement parts / valve cartridges are readily available at most hardware stores..

Hello,I would like to replace my old Kohler bath fixtures (faucet,handle or temp regulator , shower head 🚿 with Moen brand fixtures.).I hope the old cartridge is still in tact or I probably may have to replace that as well.Is that doable?

I actually suggest a laser printer, the thing about low use with the inkjets is the inkjet cartridges dry out easily, and/or they "self-clean" which is where they just use up their own ink, and the cost of the ink is a total scam.

They are all cartridge based products, basically no washers in them so the replacement parts are a cartridge instead of a 500 plumber's bill.
