Ironically I grew up less than 10 minutes from this address (I currently live about 40 minutes away), so I still know the area well.

REI was the seed that grew into this Oak grove, and keeps it going through any "storms". 

I grew up in the land business my dad was in it in the 60s .. and humbly speaking I know it as well as anyone who is trying to sell these courses.. 

They either had below mkt. rents or high vacancies and bad reputations and with super managing them I significantly grew the cash flow. 

I know this because I grew up there.

My educational background is in science, but my personal background is rooted in the Midwest where I grew up on a farm and gained a skillset in everything mechanical. 

So you'll see a higher overall income per household because the household size grew relative to the price point.

If all I had ready to deploy was $60k I'd put it somewhere until I grew it to a more substantial number. $60k doesn't buy a whole lot these days that's not going to come with a pretty substantial amount of risk. 

She never accomplished this, but we took over management of a few houses and slowly grew throughout the year. 

I grew up in Brooklyn Heights 1971-1982 and was back there and DUMBO for two years about twelve years ago.
