Our lender license is issued by the department of business oversight.

They don't understand how to price effectively, study the market, set boundaries with tenants, establish policies and procedures, communicate, and dozens of other things.

It's a more involved discussion that requires one on one communication and no, joining a "community" does not prepare you.

College isn’t a must for real estate, but it can definitely help with things like business, marketing, and communication skills.

lol it was a lot of communication and laying out upfront what we wanted/needed from the deal and then making sure it was all written out in the paperwork.

Our primary issue on both previous CPAs was lack of engagement/enthusiasm in their work.  

To communicate that a candidate doesn’t meet your qualifications without violating fair housing rules, you can simply focus on the criteria rather than the individual.
