Hello Puget Sound Investors,I know there is the pros and cons debate if getting a broker license is worthwhile for an investor.

Also subscribing to freecreditreport.com for a few months while you work on your credit is worth while.

If we say generically you would shoot to recover $5k to make it all worth while with a small profit, that seems like it may have its issues.  

If you have significant 401k savings, then taking a bit of a hit in order to really get the ball rolling on something positive can be a worthwhile trade off.  

I think very little of Dave Ramsey and "his" system, but I will be the first to admit that it has started a lot of people down a much better financial road than they had been on previously, and if that was its only redeeming factor it would still be worthwhile for some people. 

:)A college degree is still worthwhile to have, as is a W-2 job, at lest in the beginning, so stay the course.  

I'd prefer to see a 5-6% return in that short of time to make it worthwhile and less risky.  

What Chris Reed says is true - there are a lot of folks pitching stuff out there and charging fees; but you will find some worthwhile groups that don't charge a thing and that truly add value. 

Would the CREIANC be a worthwhile initiative, or membership, for someone like me who actively seeks to serve local investor clients?
